Thanks to a recent upsurge of interest for golf at the conference, I am pleased to let you know that we have secured tee times at the prestigious Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society course in Edinburgh for Wednesday. (www.bruntsfieldlinks.co.uk).

The course opened in 1761 and celebrates its 250th anniversary this year. The course has wonderful views over the Firth of Forth.

The cost of £100 includes bacon sandwiches and coffee on arrival, club hire and the round.

The plan is to leave by taxi from the Sheraton at 10.30 and arrive back at the hotel for 17.00.(shared taxi cost extra each way). Tee-off is at midday and the course is a par 71, 6,446 yards; it was an Open Championship qualifying course for this years tournament.

Please let me know your handicap and lh/rh requirements for the clubs as soon as possible.
